Southlake Sister Cities Youth Art Exhibit

Southlake Sister Cities is proud to participate in the international art contest created by Sister Cities International, the Young Artists and Authors Showcase (YAAS).
Showcasing their imagination, creativity, and passion for world peace, Carroll ISD High School art students interpreted this year’s theme, “One World: Out of Many, We are One”, which emphasizes the importance of both institutional and citizen diplomacy efforts to achieve peace.
Please plan to join us at this Free Event to view these artwork originals at Theater of North Texas 545 S. Nolen Dr. Suite 250 on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.
Southlake Sister Cities will be awarding 3 winners for their artwork, with cash prizes of $100, $50 and $25. The 1st place winner’s artwork will be sent to Washington, DC, to compete with artwork from all over the world. A panel of judges selects Grand Prize Winners and Finalists based on originality, composition, and theme interpretation.
