Southlake is located 20 miles from downtown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth – in the heart of the DFW Metroplex. Southlake was established as a farming community in the 1840s and retains much of its rural charm today. It was incorporated in 1956 with a population of about 100 people.
During the 1990s, Southlake was one of the fastest growing cities of its size in the United States. Southlake’s current population is approximately 32,000.
